Artist's Statement:
My works are a culmination of elements and forms moving in a plastic, organic manner within the space of the canvas. Although I have learned much in the academia of my training, I have pulled away from that formality to distort, change, eliminate forms of nature, to create forms and color integral to my painting. When all the elements seem to fall into place, there is a painting.
