Artist's Statement:
Christina and Douglas Pappajohn have the great pleasure of a playful collaboration. They are, in a fashion, domestic impressionists, ironing out the barriers between art and life. They paint and frame for sheer joy and have a great sweetness working together. They grope to find their way with the magic of paint and to make the "just so" frame. They aim to "clap" and to "sing" on paper, wood, and canvas.
