The video "Shadow Whispers" was accepted into the FONDAD FESTIVAL 2016 held in Coimbra, Portugal.
The online Festival of Digital Arts is a collaborative art project that aims to promote and encourage artistic creation in terms of new media, with particular emphasis on video art through presentations, exhibitions, online exhibitions, installations, workshops, residencies and performances.

The video “On China Sea” has been selected for inclusion in the best of selections in this years ARS ELECTRONICA FESTIVAL 2016: RADICAL ATOMS and the alchemists of our time, September, 8th –12th 2016, Linz, Austria.

The piece will be distributed on Blu-ray disc to all Austrian embassies worldwide promoting ARS ELECTRONICA.

James A. Michener Art Museum

Katharine Steele Renninger (1925-2004), a devoted native of Bucks County, dedicated her career to preserving in paint the achievements of its citizens: the honest craft and design found in architectural structures and handmade objects that represented a disappearing way of life.

Katherene was an SAI Artists in 2002.

Veils of Color: Juxtapositions and Recent Work
       by Elizabeth Osborne


This exhibition features the work of Senior Artist (2006) Elizabeth Osborne and will run from July 25 through November 15, 2015 at the Michener Art Museum in Doylestown, PA. The exhibit explores the arc of the artist's nearly six-decade career, a career of incredible artistic production and exploration distinguished by a subtle pas de deux between abstraction and realism.  More information can be found here.


JFK Plaza/Love Park Call for Artists


The City of Philadelphia has published a Call to Artists/Request for Qualifications to submit proposals to create art for the JFK Plaza/Love Park renovation and reconstruction. The deadline to begin the process to be considered is February 14.

CROSS SECTION

Senior Artist Tony Rosati is exhibiting at University of the Arts through October 10 in Anderson Hall Gallery 633. The exhibit, CROSS SECTION, is open Monday through Friday from 9AM to 4PM.  The closing reception will be on October 10 from 5PM to 8PM.  Anderson Hall is located at 333 S. The Picture That Remains

Photographer and Senior Artist Will Brown (2013) and poet Thomas Devaney teamed up to create The Picture That Remains, a book published by the Print Cente.  There will be a reading and book signing on February 25th at 5:30 PM at the Print Center. Drexel University Art Auction

The Arts Administration Graduate Student Association of the Drexel University Antoinette Westphal College of Art & Design has announced its 11th Annual Silent Art Auction to be held on February 28 from 7 to 10 PM.  All proceeds from the event support the visitation of Arts Administration students to speak with legislators on Capitol Hill about the importance of art and arts education on National Arts Advocacy Day. Art donations are still being accepted.
